INSURANCE: GENERAL EXCLUSIONS

 

 

 

War Risk
Any loss, damage or liability occasioned by or happening through war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, revolution, rebellion, insurrection or military or usurped power.

Radioactive Contamination

• lonizing radiations or contamination by radioactivity from any irradiated nuclear fuel or from any nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel.

• The radioactive, toxic, explosive or other hazardous properties of any explosive nuclear assembly or of its nuclear component.

As well as measures necessitated by these events and taken by the military and civil authorities. (The expression of combustion used in this paragraph will also comprise any self sustained nuclear fusion.)

Confiscation
Any loss or damage or liability occasioned by or happening through confiscation or detention by customs or other officials or authorities.

Sonic Bangs
Loss or damage by pressure waves caused by aircraft and other aerial devices traveling at sonic or supersonic speeds.
